Fair Budget Coalition’s upcoming Housing Town Hall, which Douglass CLT is proud to be cohosting, is Thursday, May 15 from 5:30-8:30pm. Join us in community, enjoy refreshments, hear from DC Council members, and share your knowledge and experiences.
The purpose of this event is to bring together impacted residents, local service providers, advocates, organizers, and policymakers to discuss the housing priorities most important to us and our communities. Town halls with our elected officials allow us to practice community accountability and have those most impacted by the budget be at the table in dialogue with those making budget decisions, and hopefully shaping those decisions.
