Thursday, September 28 is Session #3 in our Fall Co-op Check-up Series will cover ‘Conflicted Transactions: Navigating Conflicts of Interest’. This is a great session for you join us!

This session will be presented by attorneys from the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, Antitrust and Nonprofit Enforcement Section. They’ll spend time reviewing the governing structure of Limited Equity Co-ops   — and give best practices for navigating apparent or potential conflicts of interest.  For instance, if you are on your co-op board, can you recommend that the board hire your brother to fix the co-op roof?
