Julian “Jay” Forth has worked alongside DC residents for a more just city since 2010. He’s served as a tenant organizer, an executive director for a community center, a director of homeless street outreach, a board member various mission-driven organizations, and a member of Luther Place Memorial Church. His commitment to economic and racial justice motivates directs his professional and volunteer work and he says that prioritizing collective ownership and lasting affordability, Douglass CLT can offer resistance to the current of gentrification that is rapidly displacing low-income residents of color.
