✔️ Make recommendations to the Board on new developments
✔️ Identify new opportunities for acquiring and managing properties
✔️ Propose & review the Resale Formula and Ground Lease updates
✔️ Troubleshoot existing properties as needed

This committee ensures that Douglass CLT members are engaged, educated, and empowered to take an active role in the organization.
✔️ Oversee member education and orientation
✔️ Train volunteers for outreach and public events
✔️ Provide guidance on membership recruitment and retention
✔️ Encourage and support Board nominations
✔️ Help connect members with initiatives promoting racial and economic equity

✔️ Identify key policy and regulatory changes that support CLTs
✔️ Monitor local and federal legislation impacting affordable housing
✔️ Support aligned campaigns and policy initiatives
✔️ Contribute to DC budget oversight and advocacy efforts

✔️ Attend ANC and government meetings as a CLT representative
✔️ Participate in tabling events and community outreach
✔️ Organize and join property beautification days (gardening, cleaning, etc.)
✔️ Assist with membership renewals and outreach calls
✔️ Help connect Douglass CLT with new community partners

This resident-led committee provides a space for homeowners, cooperatives, and renters in Douglass CLT properties to share best practices, troubleshoot challenges, and strengthen community ties.

✔️ Support resident engagement and advocacy efforts
✔️ Help shape CLT’s stewardship services and partnerships
